He made his home in Shallowater, Texas for more than 30 years.
Mike was a devoted husband and family man. He was tender, strong, and honorable, and his family was the center of his life. His faith was deeply important to him, and his relationship with the Lord guided his life and values.
For 18 years, Mike was the owner and operator of a custom shredding business, a career he took great pride in and considered a passion.
Mike appreciated life’s simple pleasures, including hunting, fishing, jeeping, a good cup of coffee, NASCAR, Waylon Jennings, and greeting others with his familiar “Mornin Glory.” He was known for his willingness to help others and his sense of humor, often laughing at his own jokes the moment he finished telling them.
Mike is survived by his wife of 27 years, Dana Muncy; his son, Cory Muncy and wife Nicole, and their children Blaine, Faith, Sadie, and Waylon; daughter Jessica Price and husband Chris, and their children Taegan and Collyn; and daughter Jackie Holleman, her fiancé Coy Gutierrez, and her daughter, Fallon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clinton Muncy and Dana McWilliams, and his grandson, Kolton Muncy.
