Nancy Garcia Flores was born on December 1, 1959, in Lubbock, Texas, to Espiridion and Victoria Garcia. On July 15, 1977, she married the love of her life, Tom Flores, also in Lubbock, where they built a life centered around faith, family, and love.
Nancy is survived by her devoted husband, Tom; her two sons, Nathan and Matthew; and her cherished grandchildren, Elijah (17), Gabby (14), and Emmie (11). She is also lovingly remembered by her brothers Daniel, Rudy, Gilbert, Albert, Esteban, and Ernie, and her sisters Olga, Yolanda, and Nina.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Espiridion and Victoria Garcia; her siblings, Pete Garcia, Maria Garcia, and Janie Melgoza; and her precious granddaughters, Emma and Ellie Flores.
Nancy was a woman of quiet strength and deep compassion. Despite facing many health challenges, she remained one of the most grounded and kind-hearted souls anyone could know. Her warmth and generosity touched countless lives— she never met a stranger and had a unique gift for making people feel seen, heard, and loved. Her legacy of love, resilience, and grace will continue to live on in all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
