Celebration of life services for Nell Johnson, 85, of Lubbock will be held at 10 am, Monday, September 27, 2010 at Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. A visitation will be held from 2 to 3 pm, Sunday, September 26, 2010 at Resthaven Funeral Home.
Nell passed from this life Thursday, September 23, 2010.
Nell was born February 15, 1925 in Hermleigh, Texas to the late Thadiaus and Fay (Slavin) Morrow.
She was of good pioneer stock; a very independent person who always did the right thing, was never selfish and showed compassion to all. Nell loved her family unconditionally. She was a life time member of the Church of Christ. Nell graduated from Snyder High School. She co-owned Johnson Studio in Clovis, NM for 18 years.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Ron Johnson and wife, Dee, Ken Johnson and wife, Kim, Bob Johnson, and Gary Johnson and wife, Virginia; brother, Garland Morrow, 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
