Nina Mae Bittle

Nina was born November 19, 1922 in Appleton, WI. She graduated from Carl Schurz High School, Chicago, IL. Nina was a Life-time member of the sorority Beta Sigma Phi.

She married the love of her life, Bob, September 4, 1943 in Chicago, IL. Bob preceded her in death in 1994.

Nina is survived by her son Robert of Wilsonville, and daughter Barbara Harris of Colorado Springs, CO, nephew Bob Buss of New London, WI, granddaughter Alissa Aguilar, grandson Michael Harris, great grandchildren Alexandrya, Madyson, and Ayden Aguilar of Colorado Springs, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held Sunday, February 27, 2011 at 3:00 pm at 2nd Baptist Church of Lubbock.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to be made to the National Vitiligo Foundation, P.O. Box 23226, Cincinnati, OH 45223 or www.nvfi.org.

The family wishes to express their deep gratitude to Cammie, Rodney, and Steven Turnbow, Kim, Chuck, Seth, and Emma Martin, Penny and Bud Boyed and Ann and Paul Mueller for the love and care they shared with Nina during her illness.
