Ola B. Mason, age 93, of Lubbock passed away Thursday, October 29, 2015. A family visitation will be held Monday, November 2, 2015, from 6:00-8:00 pm at Resthaven Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2015, at 11:00 am at Resthaven Memorial Park. She was born on September 9, 1922 in Turkey, Texas. She was one of eleven children born to Willie Monroe and Ada Jane Smith. Ola had a passion for bingo, baseball, and quilting.
She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and daughter Mary Tanner. Ola is survived by her children, Butch and wife Barbara, Dennis and wife Dana, Donna and husband Buster Lawson, and David and wife Kim; 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
