Oleta Frances Barnett, 84, passed away Friday October 19, 2012 in Amarillo. Oleta was born February 22, 1928 in Hall Co., Texas. She married Robert L Barnett October 19, 1945 and they moved to Lubbock in 1955. Oleta became the caregiver of Robert for 28 years after he became a quadriplegic due to a trucking accident. She was a dedicated and faithful wife.
Oleta is survived by 2 sons, Larry Barnett of Fritch, TX and Tony Barnett of Lubbock and 9 grandchildren.
Visitation will be tonight from 5 to 7 PM in Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Tuesday Oct. 23 at 1:00 pm in Bacon Heights Baptist Church with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
