Celebration of Life Services for Olga Stoutenburg, 66 of Lubbock will be held at 10 A.M. April 28, 2018 at Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel. Visitation will be held from 5-7 P.M. April27, 2018 at Resthaven Funeral Home. Olga passed from this life Wednesday, April 4, 2018 in Lubbock.

She was born July 10, 1951 in Haskell, Texas. She married Daniel Stoutenburg , February 5, 1972 in Lubbock, Texas.

Olga was predeceased by her grandparents Manuel and Prima Macias Arguijo; mother, Febe White; a sister, Candy Bernice Vasquez;, uncles, Manuel II, Daniel, Eluid, Eleazar and Manuel Jr Arguijo; and aunts, , Estefana Holmes, Rachel White, Rebecca Gonzales .

Those left to honor and cherish Olga’s memory are her loving husband, Daniel Stoutenburg; sons, Daniel Stoutenburg and wife Jennifer Parkhurst, Louis Fred Stoutenburg and wife Ellain Joy, Stephen Stoutenburg and wife Maricar; stepfather, Leslie White; and 4 granchildren, Andrew, Sophia Amadeus and Enid Stoutenburg; aunts and uncles, Eunice Alexander, Ruth Garza, Benjamin Arguijo, Victor Arguijo and Sarah Bryant.

I'm very sorry to hear of Olga's passing. She was a beautiful soul. She lives forever in our memories and hearts. I remember her as my mother's good friend and will reminisce on childhood memories of she and your family for years to come.

Biography

      Olga Stoutenburg was known as many things to many people. She was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew her best, Olga will be remembered as a very exceptional person.

      Olga was raised with one sibling. She had a sister, Candy. Olga was usually involved in all sorts of activities with her siblings. She and her siblings experienced rivalries typical of a growing family, but they shared many life experiences over the years.

       Empathic and loyal, Olga was committed to making her new family happy. She exchanged wedding vows with Daniel Stoutenburg on February 5, 1972 in Lubbock, Texas. Olga worked hard to be a good mother to her children and she did her best to fulfill their needs. Olga was blessed with three sons, Daniel, Louis Fred and Stephen. Another blessing for Olga was the gift of four grandchildren, Andrew, Sophia, Amadeus and Enid.

      Fortunately, Olga enjoyed what she did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Olga worked diligently and did her best to succeed in her career. Her primary occupation was sales. Olga always sought to be a team player, doing what was necessary in order to get the job done.

      Olga passed away on April 4, 2018 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. She is survived by her loving husband, Daniel Stoutenburg; sons, Daniel Stoutenburg and wife, Jennifer Parkhurst, Louis Fred Stoutenburg and wife, Ellain Joy, Stephen Stoutenburg and wife, Maricar; stepfather, Leslie White; step-sister, La Jan Sanford; step-brother, Robbie White; and 4 granchildren, Andrew, Sophia, Amadeus and Enid Stoutenburg; aunts and uncles, Eunice Alexander, Ruth Garza, Benjamin Arguijo, Victor Arguijo and Sarah Bryant. Memorial services were held at Resthaven's Abbey Chapel at Resthaven Funeral Home in Lubbock, Texas.

      Simply stated, Olga was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by her family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Olga leaves behind her a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life she touched will always remember Olga Stoutenburg.
