Omer Lee Dalton, sometimes called “Spur Dragger” or “Concrete”, passed away Sunday October 27, 2013 about 1:00 AM. Omer and Mary Bevers were married January of 1957. They had two daughters, Omie and Sandra. During this time the family farmed and ranched in Hockley County. After 32 years Omer and Mary parted ways and he continued ranching. He and Janis McAdams met and continued life farming and ranching until his death.
Omer is survived by two daughters, two grandsons, two granddaughters and five great-grandchildren. Also by Janis, her three daughters, six grandsons, four granddaughters, one grandson and wife and one great granddaughter.
Visitation will be held Friday November 1, 2013 from 6 to 8 pm in Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Saturday November 2 at 1 pm in Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
