She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Martha Mathews. Oneta is survived by her children, Mary Beth & Brandee Wheeler, Garrett & Molly Wheeler; grandchildren: Evan Wheeler, Sarah Wheeler, Beka O'Brian, Lexy O'Brian, and Thomas James "TJ" Wheeler; siblings: Billy & Gisele Mathews of Phelan, California, Eddie Case of Lubbock, Texas, and Nancy Smith of Carlsbad, New Mexico; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Oneta will be remembered for her love of Ancestry and scrapbooking.
