

Pam Ellis Breland, our beloved wife, daughter, sister, aunt, Godmother, and friend passed from this life into the loving arms of our Savior on Sunday, April 7, 2013. Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life of 58 years on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church with her friend and spiritual guide, Monsignor David Cruz officiating at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm on Wednesday, April 10 at Resthaven .
Pam was born on December 20, 1954 in Memphis, TN. After college she moved to Houston where she met and married her husband of 30 years, Vince Breland. Later they moved to Lubbock where Pam found her calling working for Women’s
Protective Services for 20 years. Her love for working with women and children in need helped make her life complete. Pam cherished helping people, decorating her home, working in the yard, caring for her pets, and mostly spending time with family and friends. She had a passion to shop and look at beautiful things as well as creating amazing arrangements home decorations, and a sanctuary for birds in her backyard. Pam had a heart as big as Texas and would do anything for anyone. She truly has been an Angel on this Earth for many people.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Vince Breland of Lubbock; her parents, John and Shirley Ellis of Lubbock; three sisters, Sharon Ellis of Memphis, TN, Paula Parimore of Lubbock, and Donna Powell of Bartlett, TN; niece, Shea Noblett of Memphis, TN and niece / Goddaughter, Ashley Powell of Bartlett, TN; two step-sons, Edward and Cathy Breland of Nashville, TN and Brad Breland of Los Angeles CA. She also leaves her two furry babies, Turtle and Max.
Waiting for her in Heaven are her great-grandparents, grandparents, aunt, uncle, and beloved pets.
