Pauniece B. Oglesby

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 5, 2012 at 2:00 PM at South Park Baptist Church. Interment will be held on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Cross Plains Memorial Cemetery in Cross Plains, Texas. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 4, 2012 at Resthaven Funeral Home from 6-8 PM.

Pauniece was born on September 24, 1932 in Lubbock, Texas to Bill and Faye Benson. She married Joe Oglesby on December 11, 1976. She was a member of South Park Baptist Church, Beta Sigma Phi, American Business Women’s Association, Cross Plains Garden and Quilting Clubs.

She is survived by her daughter De Chance (Kenny) of Floydada, TX, two step daughters, Jeanette Villegas (Rich) of Dublin, CA and Linda Pate of Elk Grove, Ca., one sister Reba May (Jimmy) of Lubbock, TX, one granddaughter; Melode Watson (Ed) of Ralls, TX, one grandson; Randy Chance (Haley) of Lubbock, TX one step grandson; John Franchi (Isabell) of Tuscan, AZ, 4 great grandsons and 2 great granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, Patsy Starks and Peggy Perkins and her husband Joe Oglesby.
