Pearlie Wyrick

She was born on February 7, 1936 in a log cabin near Wheeler, Texas. Following her

high school graduation from Wheeler high school in 1954, she attended Abilene

Christian College. Her freshman year she met Bob Wyrick in the Beanery where they

both worked. They were married in 1956, and enjoyed 64 1/2 years together.

They raised their family in Dumas, Texas from 1962 - 2013. Pearlie and Bob were very

involved with the First Street Church of Christ and the community. She loved life,

family, children, serving others, and most importantly, she loved God.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Geneva Johnson, her sister,

Claudine Wainwright and brother, Jack Johnson.

She is survived by her husband Bob, daughter, Jana Robertson (husband Chris) of

Columbia, Tennessee, daughter Carla Shelton (husband Jerry) of Lubbock, son,

Robert Wade Wyrick of Houston, Texas, grandchildren, Jerrod Shelton (wife Eden),

Carly Shelton, Alex Robertson (wife Sydney), and Connor Robertson (wife Sydney).

She had three great grandchildren, Peyton and Carson Rosenblatt and Reid Robertson.

Also survived by one brother, Wallace Johnson (wife Shirley) of Longview, Texas
