Peggy "Grammie" Andrews

Peggy Joyce Andrews, 83, of Lubbock, passed away on June 30th, 2026. She was born on March 20th, 1943, in Lubbock, Texas, to the late Cecil “Pappy” and Mary Pearl (McCaughan) Graves. On May 10th, 1958, she married Troy Ray Andrews, Peggy is preceded in death by both parents, her husband Troy, four siblings, and one grandson. She is survived by three sons, Damon and wife Jill, of Lubbock, Johnny and wife Kelly, of Georgetown, and Richard and wife Diane, of Lubbock; six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

Peggy worked several jobs in her life, but she was most proud of becoming a professional hairdresser after graduating from Jessie Lee’s Hair Design Institute. She was an avid reader, loved collecting elephant décor (trunks always up), Houston Astros fan, and loved her pugs, Sassy 1 & 2.

Visitation will be Saturday July 11th, from 10:00am to 11:30am, at Resthaven Funeral Home and Cemetery, with Graveside Services proceeding right after from 12:00pm to 1:00pm, with Pastor Todd Sons, officiating.
