

Although Pete was born in San Angelo, TX, he grew up in Hurst, TX. He attended Hurst elementary and middle school, graduating in 1964 from L D Bell High School. After graduation Pete joined the United States Air Force and faithfully served for over 25 years, retiring as a Captain. He was known for his quick wit, sense of humor, and love for his family. He loved watching sports and was a faithful Texas Tech Red Raider, Kansas City Chiefs, and Dallas Cowboys fan. He was a an active member of Green Lawn Church of Christ and was the LTC coordinator for numerous years. Pete's greatest pride and joys were his family and the moments spent with them, whether it was grilling or just sharing stories, he doted on being in the presence of his family. His love, presence, and comedic personality will be dearly missed.
Pete was reunited with his mother, Shirley Tijerina; his loving wife of 54 years, Manuela "Elva" Reyna; and his siblings, Frankie Reyna and Linda Coakley. He leaves behind to cherish his memories his father, Pete Reyna Sr. and wife Sally; his children: Richard Reyna and wife Deborah,Rhonda Reyna-Rosemond and husband Lee Rosemond, Robyn Stewart, Shaila Reyna; grandchildren: Kenneth Stewart and wife Kelsi, Brianna Ramirez and husband Addam, Camden Stokes, Christian Palomarez, Mercedez Hernandez; great-grandchildren, Ophelia and Cecelia; siblings: Jim Reyna and wife Ella Mae , Reuben Reyna, Madeline Amaro, Susie Armijo and husband Albert, Gabriel Romero and wife Toni Ann, Corine Ulibarri, Kathy Mondragon and husband Raymond, Judy Blue and husband Greg, Lisa Dant and husband Ray, and Allison Zorn; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
