Ray Clinton Williams, “Kinky” or “Big Daddy,” was called home Monday, April 26, 2021 at age 83. Ray, a long-time resident of Nocona Hills, was born in Mesquite, Texas on April 23rd, 1938 to Roger and Ouida Williams.
He grew up in Lubbock, Texas, graduated from Lubbock High School, and spent his later years enjoying his work as a consultant at Texas Trailer Corporation. Ray lived and breathed golf, loved to visit Kiowa Casino, and could tell a great story. He’ll be remembered for his truly unconditional love, quick wit, and jovial laughter.
Ray was preceded in death by his brother Phil, wife Bonnie, and son Monty.
Ray is survived by his wife Linda “Sweet Peaches” Williams, his sister Paula Crowder, of Lubbock, his daughter Brenda Ribordy of Lubbock, his son Jimmy Williams and wife Misty of Wichita Falls, his son Brad Williams of Lubbock, his daughter Kathy Moore of Lubbock, his son Colby Sharp and wife Amy of Lubbock, his son Shane Sharp and wife Carmen of Lubbock, his cousin Sylvia Johnson of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, multiple grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home Sunday, May 2nd from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. Graveside service will be Monday, May 3rd at 10:00 a.m.
