He was a graduate of Blanket High School in 1958, Lubbock Police Academy and Masters in Law Enforcement from Sam Houston State University.
Raymond served 5 years in the Army National Guard and 3 years in the United States Navy, and was also a 32nd degree Mason.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, John Thomas Naron.
He is survived by his wife, Refugia "Ruth" Torres Naron; children: Yvette Alexander of Holland, TX, Portia C. Seamans of Brownwood, TX, stepsons, Jon Mark Fulton of Pawling, NY Bobby Grubbs of Lubbock, TX, stepdaughter, Lynn Neis of Lubbock, TX; grandchildren: Mindy Rene Seamans, of Brownwood, TX, Brandy Benson of Richland Springs, TX, Cody Benson - Paris, TN, Jamie Wickersham of Waco, TX, Sarah Fulton, Laura Fulton and Peter Fulton of Pawling, NY, Maria Fulton (Nathan Gable) of Pottsville, PA, Amanda Neis of Corpus Christi, TX and Tyler of Florida; great Grandchildren: Scott, Skylar, Ashley, Jordan, Adrienne, Piper, Levi, Lane, Rance, Rylan, Zoey, Karleigh, Jaycee, Carter, Cali, Benny, Charlotte; great-great grandchildren: Audrey and Nicole; brothers: Adron Fisher (Carolyn) of Brownwood, TX, Darrell Fisher of Evant, TX; sister, Carrolyn Fisher Pinson (Glynn) of Early, TX; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and adopted grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life was held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 19, 2018 at Abernathy United Church in Abernathy, TX.
A Masonic Memorial Inurnment was held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Littlefield Memorial Park.
