A Rosary for Cuca Segura, 87, of Lubbock, will be recited at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 24, 2010, in Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday August 25, 2010, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
She passed away Sunday, August 22, 2010 in Lubbock
Refugia was born August 17, 1923 in San Marcus, Texas to the late Florentino and Ines Davila. She married Victor Segura, Sr. in Lubbock, he preceded her in death.
Refugia was a faithful member of St Patrick’s Catholic Church where she was a member of the Guadalupanas and Cursillista.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons; Armando Davila (Mary Helen), Pete Trevino, Richard Segura (Minerva), Victor Segura, Jr. daughters; Esther Cruz (Daniel), Norma Serna (David), Guadalupe ( Lulu) Rosas (Luis), Vickie Benavides (Jacinto), 16 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
The family would like to thank Juanita Ground and Bender Terrace for their many hours of loving care.
