Rickey "Rick" Dean Stracener

Rick Stracener 69 years young, passed from this life on 12/17/25 holding the hand of his loving wife. A devoted father, brother,uncle, husband and friend- Rick was truly a light who walked among us. Rick’s greatest joy was his family.

Rick’s life was one of service, grace, and kindness. He taught those around him the value of patience, the strength of a listening ear, and the importance of finding joy in the everyday. His love for fishing, camping and the simple things in life reminded us all to slow down and enjoy the world the Lord has surrounded us with.

Rick was preceded in death by his mother- Ann Baker, Father- Johnny Stracener, Sister- Vicky Perry and Son-Todd Stracener.

Rick is survived by his loving wife Monica Stracener, son- Logan Stracener, Step Sons- Travis Mayers and Payton Mayers, and siblings- Mark Stracener, Trace Hendricks, Dannie Patterson , Jody Watson, Shelley Turner and Sommer Bentley. Rick also leaves a multitude of nieces and nephews who he adored. He will be dearly missed and forever remembered.

The funeral services will be 12/27/25 10:00am at Resthaven Funeral Home.
