

Rickie Lynn Harrison Sr., 71 was born on October 22, 1954, in Clovis, New Mexico and passed away peacefully on May 2, 2026, at Covenant Hospital in Lubbock TX.,
He was surrounded by the love of his family and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Rickie was preceded in death by his father, John William Harrison, his mother Norma Jean Bauer, his baby brother Harrison, his baby sister Iona Grace Harrison, his two sons baby boy Harrison, John Paul Harrison, and his grandson Joshua Beeman.
Rickie proudly served his country in the United States Army as a paratrooper for several years. He carried the dedication, strength, and courage of his military service throughout his life in Clovis New Mexico.
He attended and became a member of Oakwood Baptist Church for the deaf on 26th Street in Lubbock, TX., from 2013-2015 where he found fellowship and community during the time he lived with his daughter, Christy Grubbs and husband Jackie Grubbs.
Rickie worked with cows and cattle in Elida New Mexico and enjoyed the hard work and he was known for his strength, kindness, stubborn spirit, sense of humor and the deep love he had for had for his family.
He loved reading the Bible. Above all else, he loved his family and treasured every moment spent with his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and loved ones.
He is survived by his two daughters, Christy Grubbs and husband Jackie of Lubbock TX, Laura Beeman of Lubbock, his three sons, Rick Harrison Jr., and wife Kelli of Lubbock, TX. Robert Harrison and Kyla of Lubbock Tx and Benjamin Wright of Clovis, New Mexico. He is also survived by his brothers, Larry Harrison of Kansas, and Floyd “Bucky” Harrison of Virginia and his sisters, Jonnie Loadwick, of Clovis New Mexico and Robbie Arnold of Arkansas.
Rickie leaves behind 14 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and friends who will continue to carry his memory in their hearts.
Though there were hardships in life, love remained. His family remembers him with forgiveness, compassion, and hope of peace.
The family appreciates all prayers, support, and kindness during this difficult time.
