Robert Gonzales

Robert Gonzales, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, entered into rest on August 27, 2017 at the age of 56. He was born to Luis Gonzales and Ramona Vela on January 1, 1961 in Littlefield, Texas.

Mr. Gonzales married Velma Pena on August 9, 1979 in Lubbock, Texas. He worked in the Oil Field Industry for many years. Robert enjoyed the outdoors and especially riding his Harley Davidson. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Velma; their children: sons, Chris Rene Gonzales, Matthew Gonzales and wife, Miranda; daughter, Melissa D. Viramontes and husband Alex; brothers, Marcos, JR, Richard and Meme; sisters: Lucy, Yolanda, Gracie and Maria Louisa; and 8 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 31, 2017 at ResthavenFuneral Home.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, September 1, 2017 in the Abbey Chapel in Resthaven Funeral Home.

Interment will follow in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.
