Robert Byron Lund

Although Rob was born in New Jersey, he liked to joke that he crawled to Texas as soon as he could. He made his home in Lubbock, Texas, where he built a life filled with love, laughter, and the people who meant the most to him.

Rob was sometimes quiet, but those who knew him knew the depth of his heart. He was loving, loyal, and conscientious, with a wonderful sense of humor and a gift for making people laugh. He enjoyed golf, being outdoors, and most of all, spending time with his wife and their dogs.

Rob is survived by his beloved wife, Kim; his parents, Bob and Patricia Lund; his sister, Susie Roberson, and her husband, Shawn; and their sons, Colin and Aidan.

Rob liked to keep things simple, so no formal services will be held. If so moved, please consider donating to the American Heart Association or your local animal shelter.

Robert will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His quiet kindness, loyalty, and sense of humor will remain in the hearts of those who loved him, and the laughter he brought to others will be remembered always.
