Rocky Wane McFadden

Rocky Wane McFadden was born July 26th 1955 in Lubbock, Texas. He peacefully passed away July 2nd 2016 at Covenant Specialty Hospital with his family by his side at the age of 60. Rocky Struggled with Multiple Sclerosis for several years. In 1974 he graduated from Coronado High School. He later worked as a paramedic for 10 years at Lubbock Aid Ambulance until being diagnosed with M.S. Rocky was very passionate about his work and always took wonderful care of others. Rocky was an amazing dad to his 3 kids making sure he always told everyone he met about them. He loved cracking jokes, April fool’s day, his pets, and always found the best in any situation he was in. Rocky had such a kind and gentle soul and most of all a heart of gold. Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Linda McFadden of Lubbock; A sister Dawn Nivens and husband Danny of Lubbock. A son Eric McFadden and wife Kim along with 2 grandchildren Ethan and Wesley of Virginia , 2 daughters; Nicole Johnson and husband Daniel of South Carolina, and youngest daughter Candice Anderson and husband James of Virginia. A niece Lace’e Nivens and husband Danny Short with twins Ace and Brooklyn of Lubbock.

Rocky is preceded in death by his Father Rex McFadden. Services will be held at Red Bud Baptist Church Wednesday July 6th 2016 at 10:00am.
