The family of Roland A. Martinez will gather to pray the rosary at 7:00 PM on Friday, May 7, 2021, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers, followed by a time of fellowship and remembrance.  Mass to celebrate his life of 70 years will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 8, 2021, at St. John Neumann Catholic Church. He passed on Saturday, May 1, 2021.On March 7, 1951, Roland A. Martinez was born to Raul and Guadalupe Martinez in New Braunfels, TX.Survivors include his son Javier (Olga) Martinez, of Arlington, and daughter, Vanessa Martinez of Lubbock; grandchildren, Vivian Martinez, Alyssa Martinez, Anthony Speer, Savannah Martinez, and Liam Martinez; a sister, Mary (Jose) Portillo; a sister-in-law, Ofelia Martinez; and a brother-in-law, Charlie Sepulveda.He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Veronica Martinez; brother, Raul Martinez; and two sisters, Alma Sepulveda and Yolanda Chavez.
