Graveside services for Rollin F. Garrett, 74, of Lubbock, will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Sat, April 16, 2011 at Resthaven Memorial Park. Services are under the direction of Resthaven. Rollin passed away on Tuesday, April 12th.
Rollin was born on Aug 12, 1936 in Saybrook, Illinois, to Robert and Elvaree Franklin Garrett. He served in the U.S. Air Force and owned his own business in Lubbock for 45 years. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed BBQ with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Linda Garrett.
Survivors include his wife, Verna; his children and their families, Teresa and husband Garon Darling of Calif, Susie and husband Joel Holder of Lubbock, Sherry and husband Mike Moore of San Antonio, Jerry and wife Kendra Garrett of Lubbock; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren; his siblings, John Sr, Floyd, Sharon Garrett, and Louise Schmidt and Lucille Drumm.
