Ronald Leo Daniel lived 74 years, working harder than anyone I've known with great integrity and to the best of his abilities. Fifty of his years were spent married to his beautiful and equally strong wife, Ella. Together they were loving and sacrificing parents to their son and daughter, Shawn and Shelly.
Ronny was stationed in Greenland where he served in the Army, and afterwards did everything his hands found to do in order to provide for his family. Eventually he would settle in to his craft as a talented carpenter. In addition to giving the shirt off his back to anyone in need, Ron raised ribbon-worthy vegetables every year in his meticulously tended gardens. He loved fishing, camping, grilling, watching old TV westerns and talking on his c b radio.
Grandchildren were another of his passions. He loved his 3 children (Jeffrey, Shawn & Shelly), 4 grandchildren (Maegen, Ashleigh, Heather & Jonathan), and 7 great grandchildren (Xaedyn, Carson, Saige, Aubrey, Tyffanie, Mackenzie & Samson).
Ronny lived life each day with his signature brand of humor always rooted in love, making his last joke his final words. Tough as nails, Ron survived great challenges and overcame defeat on a regular basis. Accepting of all people, Ronny was fair and treated everyone with equal respect. Though Ron had a big heart, it was also a heart weakened by disease.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, his two brothers, Bob & Nicky and his son, Jeffrey. He is survived by his wife, Ella, children, Shawn & Shelly and sister, Pam. Born to Leo J and Linnie Jean Daniel in Hobart, Oklahoma on August 18, 1941, Ronny left this world of trouble and heartache on February 25, 2016 to find himself a much brighter future in a universe void of pain and disappointment. A long deserved rest filled with love and peace has welcomed him home at last. We will miss him, but are grateful he is at peace.
