Ronald Ratliff

Memorial services for Ron Ratliff, 69, of Lubbock, will be at 4 pm, Tuesday, February 14, 2012 in Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel. Ron passed away on Friday, February 10th.Ron was born on July 17, 1942 in Denver, Colorado to Walter and Gertrude Teller Ratliff. He earned an associates degree in business and was employed with Pollard Ford for 30 years, before retiring in 2003.

Ron married Carol Ramuchak, his best friend and partner, in Lubbock on August 4, 1988. An avid hunter and fisherman, he loved nature, the outdoors, and time with good friends and family.

Ron was preceded in death by a daughter, Kelly McBride in 2011.

Survivors include his wife, Carol; one daughter, Christy Skoworonski of Denver, Colorado; two sons, John Ramuchak of Ft Worth, and James Ramuchak of Prattville, Alabama; one brother, Randy Ratliff of Loveland, Colorado; and eight grandchildren, Jeremy, Jon, Jacob, Luke, Hunter, Kyle, Garrett, and Sean.
