Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Thursday, March 18, 2010, at Melonie Park Church with Roger Wisdom officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5pm to 7pm. Ronald was born on November 12, 1958, in Lubbock, to Gene and Jan (Free) Williamson. He graduated from Monterey High School in 1977 and went on to attend Texas Tech, Angelo State, and University of Texas colleges. Ronald loved to spend his time refereeing all sports, with his favorite being baseball. He also was active in the Salvation Army.
Those left to cherish his memories are his parents, Gene and Jan Williamson of Lubbock; a daughter, Sarah Gene Williamson of Farmington, New Mexico; a sister, Gena Steelman and husband Timothy of Decatur; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
