Services for Ron Dennis, 61, of Lubbock, will be held at 9 a.m. on Monday, December 28th, 2009 in Reshapes’s Abbey Chapel. Interment services will be held on Monday, at 2 p.m. in the Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene. Ron passed away on Tuesday, December 22nd. Ron was born on October 3, 1948 in Wynnewood, Oklahoma to Arvy and Betty Dennis. He served in the US Marines during Vietnam. He married his wife Jody, on July 5, 2002, in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Ron was a longtime employee of ADT Security and was a member of Trinity Church. He was preceded in death by a son, John, and a brother Terry Dennis. Survivors include his wife, three daughters, Angela and husband , Bryan Pruitt of Costa Mesa, CA, Anna Dennis of Austin, and Kim and husband Manuel Marinelarena of Lubbock; a sister, Chris Cannon of Oklahoma; a brother, Lee Dennis of Oklahoma; and six grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, from 4-6 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Lubbock.
