Rose enjoyed gardening and was known for having a green thumb. She enjoyed sitting and watching her Spanish shows and novelas; but most importantly she loved being the matriarch of her family, keeping a tidy home, and loving and caring for her family.
Rose is preceded in death by her parents; siblings: Polo Jr. Canales, Mary Sanders, Irene Garza, Raymond Canales. She is survived by her children: Joe Soto, Ricky Soto, Nancy Rocha (Abel); grandchildren: Chris, David, and Melissa; 8 great-grandchildren; siblings: Lenora Lara, Betsy Acevedo, Benny Canales, Mike Canales, Frank Canales, Mingo Canales, Sammy Canales; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
