Roy W. Roberts

Roy Wayne Roberts was born January 8, 1938 in Paducah, Texas to Edgar and Eula Roberts. They moved to Shallowater before he started school, so he was raised in Shallowater, Texas. He passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2021 in Lubbock, Texas at Whisperwood Convalescent Home.

Roy was preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence Roberts and a sister, Melba Hooks and by both parents. He is survived by his wife, Joan E. Roberts and two sons, Steve (Shirley) Roberts and Kelly Roberts and a sister-in-law Betty Roberts, several nieces and nephews and step grandchildren.

Service will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home’s Abbey Chapel on January 10, 2022 at 9:00 AM.
