Jackie and family
We are so sad at the passing of cousin Royce. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. I remember the times Bonnie and I spend on the farm with Royce riding Jim the old plow horse. Many good memories. We thank him for his service to our country.

This was from our visit up north in 2017. He did remember his parents and the house as it was as a kid not the condition it was when we saw it.

We grieve with you today as we remember Royce and the kind and nice person he was. We spent time on the farm with Royce when we were small and not so much when we were in school. But remember the work horse that we would get a ride on named(Jim). I have a picture of Larry, Bonnie and Royce on it. We just want you to know that we are thinking of the family even though we can't be with you and praying for comfort and love. George and Bonnie
Couldn't find the one with the horse but this is a good one. Emma Huwe , Joyce Huwe Nadine Huwe, Larry, Bonnie and Royce. I think Roger is on top of the car with Irma holding him.

Growing up on the farm with Royce was a blessing. He taught me how to play basketball and baseball. We shared chores and work around the farm. I followed him to Augustana and into the military—I was a rebel and went into the Navy. We kept in touch about every month or two, kept track of our careers and each other. Visited a few times and enjoyed the family time. RIP. Thank you for the learning.

Royce was an older cousin and interacted with my older brothers Robert & David, Gladwin’s sons, when the Kjosa families got together. Loved to watch them play baseball.

I am so sorry for your loss. I wish you all God’s peace and fond memories in the coming days.

Growing up in South Dakota with lots of cousins around was a highlight of my youth. Many visits to Royce's parents farm by Lily, SD gave me an idea of farm life, especially bottle feeding the lambs. We often got together with the Kjosa relatives for holidays, especially around Christmas. Royce went to Augustana college in Sioux Falls, SD, and I followed him when he was a senior. His life after that in service to his country took him many places. I last spoke to him a few years ago when I called to talk to Jackie, but he answered!! He did admit he wasn't supposed to answer when Jackie wasn't home, but I am so glad he did. He remembered me and we had a nice visit. I am so glad he answered!!
I am so sorry, Jackie and sons, for your loss. Man the promise of the Risen Lord console as you grieve your loss.
