Ruby was born in Ralls, TX, on April 19, 1925 to Claude and Mary Walker. She married Charles Edwards and they moved to Lubbock when their daughter Doris was a baby.
Ruby was a hard worker and enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and making things for her family. She was a small but feisty lady who enjoyed listening to old music, playing games like Wahoo and checkers, and watching “The Price is Right” and “I Love Lucy”.
Ruby is survived by her daughter, Doris Blair, 8 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 11 great- great-grandchildren. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents Claude and Mary Walker, husband Charles Edwards, and sons Glenn and Larry Edwards.
