Bernice Wingo passed from this life into the arms of her Savior on Sunday, February 22, 2015. She was born to William and Della Key on December 19, 1932 in Little, OK. She married Clifford Wingo on February 24, 1950 in Clovis, NM.
She was a long time member of the Salvation Army and delivered War Crys for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Carl, W.H. and Douglas Key, sister Josie Cotz, foster sister Angela Marez, stepson Johnny Wingo and son Steve Wingo.
She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Clifford Wingo. Daughters Patricia Wingo, Kay Potter, Gloria Rubino and Penny Rushing. Son Michael Wingo. Sisters Naomi Davis and Wilma Stewart. Brother Donnie Key. Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Services will be Thursday, February 26, 10:00 a.m. at Resthaven Funeral Home with internment to follow at Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 25 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Resthaven Funeral Home.
