

Sandra Diann Davis, a beloved sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2026, in Lubbock, Texas. Born on October 15, 1946, in San Saba, Texas to Mr. & Mrs. S.B. Fitzgerald.
Sandra dedicated much of her life to working in the cotton industry and food broker industry before finding great passion in working at BSA Harrington Cancer Center in Amarillo, Texas. Her compassion and commitment left a lasting impact on all the friendships she made. She was a member of Trinity Fellowship Church in Lubbock.
Sandra met her husband, Don Davis, in Lubbock, Texas before moving to Canyon, Texas and they married on July 11, 1995. After retiring and her husband passing she moved back to Lubbock to be closer to her daughter and grandkids. She enjoyed going to church, gardening, reading, and watching the grandkids in all their sporting activities and just being around family.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, S.B. Fitzgerald and Ethel Fitzgerald, her husband Don Davis, and sister Karen Bellamy.
She is survived by her brother Gary Fitzgerald, her four children: Bonnie Milam, Michael McRight, Troy Martin (Tanah), and Courtney Ray (Craig) who carry forward her spirit and values. Her grandchildren, Kyler Bigham, Kelsey Salas (Jordan), Kaley Ray, Sarah Milam (Manny), Jacob Martin, Amanda McRight ( Andrew), and Austin McRight. Great-grandchildren, Aubrey Marie, Payson, Kolt, Saylor, Aubrey Jean, Mateo, Madison, Jensen, Garrett, LeAndra and Makayla. Sandra’s family also includes nieces, nephews, friends, and many neighbors who hold a special place in her heart.
The family expresses profound gratitude to the nurses and aides at Covenant Hospital Oncology Floor and Interim Hospice for the compassionate care they provided.
Funeral services will be February 6 at 11A.M. at Resthaven Funeral Home in the Tech Mausoleum.
