Shannon was one of my best friends in high school and Highland baptist church during high school.  She always had a smile on her face and was so much fun hanging around with...Rest in Peace

I would like to express my condolences, I only met Shannon though email she want to attend a Lupus Support Group meeting and was looking forward to atttend the lupus walk in September I feel sad that I never got to talk to her I will keep her email to remind me that she really want to be apart of the Lupus Foundation. Maegen and Mathew,
There is nothing anyone can say to ease this time of sorrow and pain, but I would like to let you know we are there for you guys. You were the light in you r mom's eyes and she loved you both very much. Shannon was a gracious and wonderful person. She will best be remembered by those who knew her as gracious, whitty, smart, a loving mom, and a tremendous nurse.

Many thoughts and prayers go out to her friends and family. I swam with Maegen for as long as I can remember. Shannon was a very sweet and loving mother and I know she will be missed.       My dear friend and nursing collegue. How sorry I am that miles separated us and as time went by we lost touch of each other. As I received this news today, I am so deeply saddened. I see your smile and I hear your laugh...I see us playing pacman at the mall after a long night on West 6 and standing on the balcony of our rooms at the Inn of the Mountain Gods. May you be eternally a joyous angel in the home of our God.

My condolences. I remember playing softball with Shannon at Trinity Baptist when we were kids.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. I worked with Shannon in the late 1980's in the Cath Lab at Methodist Hospital. She was an awesome nurse and we have some good memories! And though we seldom kept in touch, I have thought of her from time to time.

Shannon was one of those people who you never forget. However you crossed her path, either through Maegan's swimming, Matthew's karate, or her exceptional nursing career, she left an impression with you. She faced the challenges of her health with a smile and never allowed it to beat her. Whatever was thrown at her, she met it face on and that is a rare quality. Maegan & Matthew ~ she loved you guys more than you know, never doubt that. I was proud to know her and to be her friend. God Bless.
