Stephen “Lee” Jensen, 44, of Lubbock, Texas, entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on May 30, 2026, surrounded by his wife and children at home. Though his family grieves his loss, they find comfort in God’s promise of eternal life and the assurance that Stephen is now healed, whole, and at peace.
Born on June 7, 1981, in Plainview , Texas, to Lynn and Vicki Jensen, Stephen grew up in Lubbock, where he developed a deep love for his family, his community, and the work of his hands.
After graduating, Stephen worked as a mechanic and volunteer firefighter, serving others with dedication, humility, and skill. In 2011, he began his career at Patterson Drilling, where his strong work ethic, integrity, and commitment to others earned him the respect of all who knew him.
Shortly thereafter, Stephen met the love of his life, Angella. They were married on June 29, 2012, in Snyder, Texas, and together built a Christ-centered home filled with love, laughter, faith, and devotion to their six children. Stephen was a faithful member of Turning Point Community Church, where his relationship with Christ continued to guide and strengthen every aspect of his life.
Stephen is survived by his beloved wife, Angella Jensen; daughters Allyssa and Hadley Jensen; sons Ephraim, Wyatt, Sawyer, and Owen Jensen, all of Lubbock; grandchildren Aaliyah and Alaric Campos; his parents, Lynn and Vicki Jensen; brothers Alan Jensen of Petersburg and Charlie Jensen of Houston; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Stephen’s life was defined by his unwavering love for his family and his steadfast faith. He loved teaching his sons how to work on cars, building and managing projects around the home, and cheering on his children in every activity and accomplishment. He worked tirelessly to provide for those he loved and faced life’s challenges with remarkable strength and courage. Even through illness, he continued to put his family first, rarely letting others see the pain he carried.
To know Stephen was to know a man of quiet strength, generous spirit, and deep devotion. His wife, children, grandchildren, and family were his greatest joy and his highest calling.
While his absence leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who loved him, they rejoice in the hope found in Christ and the promise that this goodbye is not forever. Because of God’s grace and the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ, they look forward to the day when they will be reunited with him in Heaven.
