Steven J was born on December 28th, 1991 to Mary and Steven Lee Sr. in San Diego, California.
He graduated from Frenship High School in 2010. He later went on to pursue his passion for cutting hair and attended the Lubbock Hair Academy, graduating in 2021. After obtaining his Barber’s License, Steven J. worked at Hub City Cutz Barbershop, where he showcased his talent and passion for hairstyling.
While Steven loved his career, his biggest passion in life was being a father to his four boys. He took pride in not just the “Stepdad” but a “Dad who stepped up”. Steven is remembered by his family as an amazing man, a loving brother to all of his siblings, and a wonderful son to his parents.
Steven J. also enjoyed sports. In his free time he enjoyed playing basketball and watching football games. He was an avid fan of the L.A. Lakers and the San Diego Chargers.
Steven is survived by his mother, Mary Lee, father, Steven Lee Sr., his loving fiancé, Cassandra Robledo, and his four children, Zane, Noah, Kaleb, and Zayden. His memory lives on through his grandparents, Algerita Marshall of Lubbock, Texas, Gloria Dawkins of Clarksville, Tennessee, his siblings, Gloria Lee of Portland, Oregon, Lysann Lee of Dallas, Texas, D’ondre Lee of El Paso, Texas, Monzerradt Cordero of El Paso, Texas, and Eduardo Cordero of El Paso, Texas, along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
