Sue Williams

Sue was born on July 10th, 1943, in Burkburnett, Texas to Hester Josephine and Leonard Mose Archer.

She went on to marry the love of her life, Royce Williams, and would spend 31 beautiful years together until his passing. Throughout their years together Royce and Sue built a wonderful life together raising their three boys.

Over the years, Sue held positions with Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center as an administrative assistant and as a hostess at The Sherrick Senior Independent Living.

Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Royce Williams; her parents, Hester Josephine and Leonard Mose Archer; siblings, Pat Stubblefield, Johnny Rae Archer, and Phillip Archer.

Those left to carry on her memory include her sons, Tom Archer and wife Tami of Arco, Idaho, Brad Williams and wife Michelle of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and David Williams and wife Tami of Canyon Lake, Texas. Her legacy extends to her grandchildren, Ivy (Quin) Archer of Roselle Park, New Jersey, Toni (James) Segars of Granbury, Texas, Timber Archer of Challis, Idaho, Wolf (Kailin) Williams of St. Charles, Missouri, as well as Griffen, Carter, and Mason Williams of Canyon Lake, Texas ; Great-Grandchildren, Dylan and Nolan Segars, River Todd; as well as her siblings, Tommy Archer (Sharon), Freddie Hayes (Lavada), Linda Cash (Jerry), and Sharon Hibbs (Gary).

A graveside service will be held at Resthaven Memorial Park on Friday, July 11th at 10 o’clock AM.
