Tammy Cornwall

Tammy leaves behind a family who loved her dearly. She is survived by her husband, John Talley; her two daughters, Monica Maloney and Rachel Murto; her sons-in-law, Brian Maloney and Hjalmer Murto; and her three grandchildren, Mandi Maloney, Oiva Murto, and Miina Murto.

She is also survived by her sisters, Kay Cox and Cindy Cofield; her brother-in-law, Keith Cofield; and several nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly.

Tammy was one of five siblings. She was preceded in death by her parents, Reba Springer and Harold Middleton; her brother, Jerry Middleton; her sister, Frankie Middleton; and her ex-husband, Robert Cornwall.

Tammy had a generous heart and a love for others that was impossible to miss. She loved deeply and, as those who knew her would say, boy, did she love hard. She gave of herself freely, welcomed people warmly, and made those around her feel cared for and remembered. Her kindness, humor, and wholehearted love left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Tammy’s faith was also an important part of who she was. One of the many stories shared after her passing came from a longtime coworker who spoke of being afraid of frogs. Tammy told him, “You know what FROG stands for, right? Fully Rely On God.” Those simple words helped him face his fear and stayed with him. The story reflects Tammy’s gift for encouraging others and offering comfort in a way that was uniquely her own.

One of Tammy’s favorite things to do was cook out and invite as many friends and family members as she could. Her gatherings were filled with food, laughter, stories, and togetherness. Friends and family would gather to play cards, dominoes, and dice, sharing moments that have become treasured memories. Through her generosity and love of bringing people together, Tammy created a sense of warmth and belonging that will be deeply missed.

Tammy’s life was enriched by the love of her family and friends, and she gave that love back wholeheartedly. Though her family is heartbroken by her passing, they find comfort in knowing that she passed peacefully at home and in the many memories she leaves behind.

Tammy will be remembered for her loving spirit, generous heart, strong faith, and the lasting impact she made on the lives of others. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and everyone whose life she touched.
