Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 PM, Monday, August 27, 2012 at Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the Abbey Chapel at Resthaven with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
Ted was born on July 12, 1930 to Robert and Dorothy (Feist) Whaley in Findlay, Ohio. He married Ernica Zindorf on July 12, 1958 in Cleveland, Ohio. She preceded him in death on May 17, 2010.
Ted was owner of Adroit in Slaton and was retired from Goulds Pumps. He was a brother of the Masonic Lodge in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. He served in the Navy during the Korean War.
He is survived by his daughters, Susan Puckett, Zindy Whaley and Sandie Fields; sons, Dennis Whaley and Michael Whaley ; eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren and a sister, Patricia Hix.
