Thomas John Jones

Thomas John Jones, age 89, of Lubbock, died Saturday, April 11, 2015. He was born December, 04, 1925 to the late Pat and Willie Jones in Spaulding, Oklahoma, where he was raised on a farm and learned the value and responsibility of developing a strong work ethic. He was a dedicated manager and enjoyed his responsibilities at Frito-Lay. He was a 32nd degree Mason, faithfully serving over 60-years. He was the Recipitant of the Golden Trowel, he was a renowned Instructural Mason. He was also the Past Worshipful Master for Mackenzie Lodge #1327, Lubbock, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Thelma Marie Jones.

He is survived by his son, Jerry (Becky) Jones, of Lubbock; grandchildren, Krista Fitzhugh, Allyson Lawler, Heather Snow, Mary Jones, Reed Jones; great grandchildren, Camryn Fitzhugh, Conner Fitzhugh, Calloway Lawler; brother, Tommy Jones; sister, Carolyn (John) Scofield and many close friends he considered family.
