Tracy was my classmate and friend! You would never find a more reliable or conscientious person!  She was always so kind and thoughtful to everyone ! Every time I saw her we could visit just like we saw each other every day! I was very sad to hear of her passing and I know she will be missed by her family, but Tracy was one of those people that even though her life was short her influence will be eternal!  My prayers are with her husband and children

I barely knew Tracy.  God only blessed me with her presence for one basketball season.  Her daughter and mine played one year together.  But she taught me things in that short time.  I have enjoyed reading these stories about her.  The corn story truly sums her up for me.  She was a beautiful example to all of us of Christ.  She was strong, caring, joyful, dedicated and loving.  May you all feel God’s presence and love now and always. 

When I was in junior high Tracy became very close friends with our family. I thought she was perfect- beautiful, funny, and a dedicated student and athlete. Before long Tracy was going with us on family vacations and spending lots of time with us. I considered her the big sister I never had. She could be so silly- whatever it took to make my friend and I double over in laughter. When she met Bobby he fit right in and became family as well. . As she became a mother it was obvious that she loved Caleb, Jordan, and Ryan so much and wanted the very best for them. I’m heartbroken at the loss of Tracy. I’ll hold the memories of her, especially her smile and the sound of her voice, in my heart forever.  

When I was Director of Exodus Prison Ministry, Tracy helped by
providing copy paper.  She was one of the kindest, most
respectful ladies I ever met.  She radiated Christ.   After meeting her,  a person would very quickly recognize that she was a
committed Christian.  I was very impressed with how well she dealt with her children.  She was very kind and respectful to us
seniors who worked in that ministry.   My sympathy goes to her family.   The example she was to her children and others will live
on in their hearts and lives - for the glory of Jesus whom she
loved and honored.

I spent a lot of time with tracy Bobby and their children. I was there hairdresser for several years. I learned so much from tracy.  Her and Bobby always increased my walk with god. Tracy taught me so much about the value of family. Her dedication to her children was so uplifting. I will never forget the wonderful friend she was to me. Until we meet again!

Corn Day. Two words that have very special meaning to me.  Tracy taught me many useful things, but among the most memorable was the day (or two) we shucked, blanched, creamed, and prepared hundreds of ears of corn.  A local farmer had generously offered whatever we would like to have from his plentiful garden.  He was ready to be finished for the year, and was spreading the word for neighbors to take as they pleased. 
 So, Tracy and I walked down one evening, planning to gather some okra, squash, or whatever else we found.  As we made our way to the corn, we were quickly filling the wagon we had brought along.  I became busy pulling a few ears for supper, but noticed Tracy closely examining the silk.  She got a gleam in her eye that revealed much grander plans than supper.  She began to explain to me that the corn was "ready," and that we couldn't possibly wait one more day.  If so, it would lose all its sweetness and ruin.  I listened attentively, but reasoned within myself that she couldn't possibly be suggesting we actually pick the majority of the corn standing before us. Sunset was close, and there were two FULL rows of corn; each row no less than thirty yards long.  I think I said something like, "Well, that's really too bad (pause)...such a shame that the corn might ruin...(longer pause)...so, I bet we can get a couple more...I mean, I guess the wagon is not full-full..."  Then, as serious and matter-of-fact as she usually was, Tracy cut me off.  "Now, come on now, Jennifer. Of course we're not going to put any more corn in that wagon.  That would just be silly!  Can't you see we're going to have to go on down and get Bobby's truck? "
And, so we did...twice!
I've kept a picture of "Corn Day" in my kitchen ever since. When overwhelmed with this or that, I look at it and laugh.  I remember us standing amongst all that corn.  I remember that what I saw as impossible, Tracy saw as opportunity.  I'm so thankful the Lord provided that experience and my good friend.

When I was a young child, I remember being in awe watching Tracy play basketball. She was adored by her teammates and friends. I wanted to be like her. 

When I was 15, getting ready to start my junior year in high school, my parents told me that we were moving to Alexandria. I did not want to go. Tracy, who was 23, and Bobby allowed me to move in with them for the year. I may have been somewhat of a bratty teenager, but they opened their home to me when I needed them. I am forever grateful.  She was very patient with me and taught me a lot that year. 

I have always known Tracy to be loving, disciplined, and selfless.  She gave of herself to her family, her church, and her community.  I do not think I ever heard her complain. 

It was obvious that she and Bobby were rock solid, a great team. Tracy was a wonderful mother to Caleb, Jordan, and Ryan.  She was a follower of Christ, an example of how Christ wants us to show his love in this world. 

I will always remember Tracy’s grin and the twinkle in her eye. She was loved my many, and will be greatly missed. 

I was working with the youth at Temple Baptist Church when I met Tracy. She was an all- American girl. She was kind loving always smiling never said an unkind word about anyone that I know of. She was definitely a leader and someone everyone loved. I’m sorry that we lost touch over the years. I know I will see her in heaven one day. This verse comes to mind during this difficult time. The words were comforting to me and I pray they will bring comfort to her family and friends who are mourning. “No we believe that it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus that we are saved just as they are.” Acts 15:11 His grace is sufficient. 

Ray and I send our deepest sympathies and prayers for the MaGee family. My deepest memory is sharing a wonderful Easter lunch together, celebrating our risen Lord. May he now grant you His perfect peace during this very difficult time. Isaiah 26:3

I met Tracy at Church and admired her ability to never forget a name , if she met you one time , she always remembered you and your families name ! Ask about my son every time I seen her , and met him 1 time ! Such a beautiful person inside and out ! Brother Bobby and children , Thoughts and prayers are with you all ! My sincere condolences to the Magee family.  So sorry to hear of Tracy's passing.  She was so sweet in school and I never heard her speak ill of anyone. She loved her sports and was great at it too.  Class of '89 has lost another great one! RIP Tracy!

Random thoughts on Tracy Magee:
 
Tracy was an outstanding athlete, and particularly a super  basketball player. I well remember being about 11 and Tracy about 14, shooting hoops at Papaw Jewel and Grandmother's house. Tracy took no mercy and beat me time after time, but she was never mean about it. She really had a beautiful shot.

Tracy was a serious person. She spent her life in service to her family, and particularly her mother, eschewing personal goals in order to tend to her mother's  business with diligence and care for virtually all of her adult life. Thrust into responsibility at a young age, she did not shy from the challenge, but embraced it.  Tracy sacrificed herself for others.  She was principled. She did not compromise her values in the face of societal or personal pressure.  

Tracy repeatedly earned and deserved the respect, love, and regard  of her family.  I am proud to know how much Tracy was loved, respected, and admired by the Kendricks and many, many others. 

Tracy was a wonderful mother to her children. Ryan, Jordan, and Caleb know how much Tracy cared for them in the best way that she knew how.  They are hurting now, indeed, but Tracy's leadership and love will live on in them. We will pray for Bobby, Ryan, Jordan, and Caleb in this time of need. 

A mutual friend described Tracy's relationship with Bobby as follows:
"Its very telling how she and Bobby interacted with one another. It's mutual respect and submission and support for one another."   These are beautiful words, and just so very accurate. 

I will miss my cousin

Tracy is my first cousin and as children we were inseparable. We were so close in age and always together, that people thought we were brother and sister. We practically lived at Pawpaw and Granny Flaherty's farm in the summer. Gathering eggs in the hen house, feeding the ducks, chasing cows, fishing, building tree houses, shooting pellet guns, and many other adventurous things. How I wished we could go back to those days. She will definately be missed and never forgotten.

I taught Tracy in my Algebra I class.   Not only was she a wonderful person; but she was my Algebra I rally student who won awards in that capacity.  She was one of my favorite students who will always hold a special place in my heart.  

People used to get Tracy and I mixed up.  I was always glad of that because I respected her.   I had people congratulate me on getting homecoming queen a year late then I realized they were congratulating Tracy because she was LC homecoming queen.  
I always looked up to her.   Always wanted to be as good as her, as smart as her as confident as her.  She was an athlete, she was witty, she was 4.0.   A brilliant mind with a heart of gold.  She was well respected and admired always.  She had a funny side that I got to see when Aunt Elaine (actually my 1st cousin) took us to Florida for a basketball camp and then to the Florida Keys.  She went scuba diving and I had to snorkel and we had lots and lots of laughs.   Then she was serious, determined, full of grit when we were on the court or the diamond or the track. She touched everyone with her loving, faithful spirit.

I was privileged to teach Tracy when she was in sixth grade. She was an ideal student and made all A’s. Tracy was always dependable & so pleasant to be around. She was everything I would want in a daughter.❤️
