Travis graduated from Spade High School in 1986. After graduation, he attended South Plains College to receive an Associates Degree in Law Enforcement as well as one in Drafting and Design. Travis worked on the family farm as well as the Anderson Mowing service for over 12 years.
He then met his wife on a skiing trip in Wolf Creek, Colorado and would have been married for almost 27 years.
Travis was very entrepreneurial, starting his own business the Rockin’ TA transportation from the ground up. He hauled groceries for Llano, Milk, Cheese, and other various items. He devoted multiple hours as the Pit Crew Coordinator for the Frenship High School Band on top of hauling the band’s equipment with his truck for almost eight years.
Travis was a very skillful individual who had the ability to fix anything, he was known as an outstanding cook, the favorite son, a devoted husband, loving father and uncle, who served as a mentor to many. He enjoyed camping, jet skiing, going on family vacations, barbequing, and attending Friday night football games.
He is preceded in death by his father, Travis (Bud) Anderson SR., and his mother who soon followed after his passing, Carolyn Sue Anderson. He is survived by his wife, Haley Jo Anderson; his two daughters, Kylie Corinne Anderson and Makayla Breanne Anderson; his sisters, Kimberley Anderson Carey (Harold) and Michelle Anderson Builtron (Arthur); his nieces; Jami Bostic (Nathan) and Kindra Garcia (Daniel); and his nephews; Jeremy Walden and Casey Walden (Lauren).
The family will be receiving Guests at the funeral home on Sunday, August 1, 2021 from 2:00p.m.-6:00p.m. Services will continue on Monday, August 2, 2021, with a 10:00a.m. Celebration of Life. Interment will follow in Anton Cemetery.
