

Trent was born in Lubbock, Texas, and from the very beginning brought light, energy, and joy into the lives of those around him. He was a passionate and driven young man with a deep love for motocross. Whether he was on the track or talking about riding, it was where he felt most alive. His determination, fearless spirit, and love for the sport were evident to everyone who knew him.
Trent was more than his passions—he was a kind-hearted, hardworking, and genuine soul. He had a way of making people feel welcome and valued, and he left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was deeply loved by his family and friends, and his presence brought happiness, laughter, and strength to those around him.
He is survived by his loving parents, Tucker and LaKrisha Smith; his little brother, Gunner Smith; his grandparents, Tony and Tamara Hamby, Stephanie Smith, and Doug and Nancy Smith; his aunts and uncles, Justin and Rae Lynn Hamby, Logan and Caitlyn Smith, Nash Gass and Asher Leal; and his cousins, Caden Hamby, Brooklynn Hamby, Addie Hamby, and Conner Smith.
A celebration of life will be held on May 16, 2026 at 1:00 pm at Cook’s Garage in Lubbock, Texas. All who knew and loved Trent are welcome to attend and celebrate his life.

Trent’s life, though far too short, was filled with purpose, passion, and love. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
