Troy Dawn Randolph, joined our Heavenly Father on January 20, 2019 at the age of 90. He was born in Frederick, Oklahoma on November 26, 1928. Troy was the oldest of five children born to Josh and Mollie Randolph. He began working among the cotton fields on his family’s farm at the age of 6 which sparked a passion for farming. In the 8th grade, he became a member of the FFA and worked in the agriculture industry for 72 years. He served as president of Randolph Manufacturing and De’Ran Gear Inc. Troy was a dreamer, inventor, entrepreneur, and engineer.
Raised in a Christian home, Troy gave his life to Christ in 1948. He believed “the purpose of life was to raise Godly children and spread the Gospel.” He lived out these principals by serving as an elder at Parkway Drive Church of Christ, a faithful member of Sunset Church of Christ, and supporting mission work throughout Mexico and the United States.
Troy was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Velma Lois Randolph.
He is survived by his siblings: Deloy Randolph, Vonna Richards, Kelly Randolph, Shirley Harris; children: Douglas Randolph, Karen Randolph, Dawna Gilbert, and Troy Randolph, Jr.; grandchildren: Nicholas Randolph, Nathan Gilbert, Alyssa Smith, Meagan Knight, Toby Gilbert, Angela Richardson, Josh Randolph, Clayton Randolph, Andrew Randolph, Shelby Leach, Dusty Leach, Derrick Leach; great-grandchildren: Owen, Clayton, and William Knight, Hailey, Wyatt, Katelyn, and Brynna Smith, Ian and Isaac Gilbert, Phoenix-Blue Randolph, Spencer, Lincoln, and Sunnie Randolph, Tristyn, Taylor, and Tucker Richardson and many loving friends.
The family will receive guests from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Resthaven Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Parkway Drive Church of Christ.
