Truman Dean Marney, 85, of Lubbock passed away March 29, 2013. He was born to Benjamin and Alice Marney on March 22, 1928. He was a master of the Masonic Lodge, Shriner, Worthy Parton of the Eastern Star, and taught over 30 years for Galena Park Independent School District. Mr. Marney is preceded in death by his parents; Benjamin and Alice Marney, son; Ronald Dean Marney. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years; Dorothy Lee Allen, son; Benny Max (Dana) Marney of Florida, two grandchildren; Ronald Dean Marney II and Anthony Glen (Kris) Marney, one great grandchild; Olivia Marney, and two daughter in laws; Billie Marney and Suzann Marney. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 2nd at Resthaven Funeral Home from 6-8pm. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, April 3rd at Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel at 1:00pm.
