V. Wayne Carey, 92, of Brownwood, Texas passed on November 18, 2020 at his home. He was born, February 27, 1928 in Pioneer, Texas.
In 92 years of living he worked at Dairies, delivered telegrams, Western Clarklift, Asco, Mckissack Auto Supply, Rigney Auto Supply, Boyd Smith, 3M Manufacturing, Kimco Whoelsale, His own stores, Parts Warehouse and Waynes Auto and Machine Shop, Partner in Lubbock, Trailers and Sales for Lufkin Industries and American Equipment and Trailers (and believe me there are more).
Wayne is survived by his wife Cathy Dunn-Carey, Children; Angela, and Russel Thomas, Jason Rasco, Priscilla, Darrell, Harold and Kim Carey. Grandchildren; Charlie, Cherith, Caleb, Emily, Corey and Chu Yun Thomas, Heath, Devin, Emily, Shelby and Morgan Rasco, Ken and Rachel Carey, Karen and Norbert Kessen, Jami and Nathan Bostic, Kindra and Daniel Garcia, Tasha and Adrian Gamble. Great Grandchildren; Dakota Thomas, Elijah and Olivia Rasco, Addison, Brooklyn and Cadee Bostic, Jayben and Ella Garcia, Elijah and Avigail Gamble. Many Others looked to Wayne as a father figure including his nephew Tommy warren, nephew, Jerry Don & Niece Cherl. Cherl’s children are Shayla, Sirerra, Dakota and Shariea.
Wayne is preceded in death by his parents Vister and Rosa Robinson Carey, Wife; Bonnie Faye Carey, Brother; Cleve and his wife Edna May Carey and his little sister Hazel Carey.

My husband R.L. and I enjoyed many years of fellowship with Wayne and family at Peace Tabernacle. He had a big heart and was always willing to help others out. He has finally met his Savior he served for so many years. R.I.P. Wayne.
