Victor Cruz

Victor Cruz, 51, of Lubbock passed away September 20, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. The family will receive friends for a Visitation today from 3 until 6 pm at Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral Services celebrating his life and legacy will be held on Monday September 23, 2013 at 2:00pm at the First Baptist Church of Meadow. Interment will follow in the Meadow Cemetery.

Victor was born on September 10, 1962 to Marcus G. and Sarah (Perez) Cruz in Lubbock, TX. Victor loved and enjoyed spending time with his family. His selfless and giving spirit made him always ready to help someone in need. He savored life and all that it had to offer. He enjoyed practical jokes and making people laugh. His warm personality and friendly spirit caused him to never meet a stranger along his journey. He enjoyed fishing, and had great mechanical skills.

He was preceded in death by his father Marcus G. Cruz; his brother, Marcus Cruz Jr.; and his beloved son Victor Anthony Cruz

He leaves to cherish his memory, a loving wife, Yvonne; beloved children; Christina Cruz, Lisa Cruz, April Solano, Benjamin Morales, CJ Morales, and Joshua Seth Cruz; Loving mother, Sarah Cruz; grandchildren, JoeAnthony Mata, Brylee Victoria Frausto; 3 devoted siblings, Bert Rogers (T.R), Daniel Cruz (Connie) Tommy Cruz (Lauriena), a host of nieces, nephews, other realatives and friends.
