

Walter Bud Fulgham, 85, of Lubbock, TX died Tuesday, September 30, 2014, with his family by his side. He was born February 1, 1929, in Clovis NM to Bud and Fannie Pearl (Wilson) Fulgham. He grew up in Clovis with his 10 siblings and married Florene Dudley July 13, 1951. Walter and Florene had four children, Jackie, Mickie, Vickie, and Mike. He serviced in the United States Army. He worked for Santa Fe Railroad as an engineer for 35 years. He then ran the railroad taxi with his family for 5 years. He retired and has spent the last 21 years in Lubbock with his wife and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and ten siblings, Fred Fulgham, Ray Fulgham, Frank Fulgham, Fay Bradley, Roy Fulgham, Bob Fulgham, Daisy Eaton, Mary Miller, Cecil Fulgham, and Betty Webb.
He is survived by his daughters and their husbands all of Lubbock, Jackie and Bob Marts, Mickie and Henry Martin, Vickie and Jimmie Naslund, and one son and his wife, Mike and Sandy Fulgham of San Antonio, TX. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 11 ½ great grandchildren, numerous nephews and nieces and beloved friends.
There will be a memorial service in Lubbock, TX at Resthaven Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5740 W. 19th, Friday, October 10, 2014 at 1:00 pm Central Time.
