William “Bill” Harum Fowler, 91, of Lubbock, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2016 at his home. Bill was born in Cunningham, Texas to the late Earnest and Laura Fowler. He served his country in the US Army and received the Purple Heart for his bravery and service.
Bill married Genell Bell on June 14, 1947 and she preceded him in death on June 20, 1987. He then married Jeanette Loveless Bell on November 21, 2003. Bill was an avid square dancer. He was employed, as an accountant, for a number of years at Wilkerson Cold Storage in Lubbock.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Fowler; four children, Celia Wadsworth, Vickie Self, Les Fowler and Missy Wooten, Three step-children, Wayne and Ken Bell and Marilyn Lashaway, 16 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
